Provided user support for CAD applications (Creo Parametric 2, Ansys, Femfat, and PDMLink) and resolved incidents. Developed best-practice workflows for Creo Parametric 2 and Windchill/PDMLink. Designed and delivered user training. Developed Java, .NET, Node.js, and web applications to meet internal CAD and PDM needs. Wrote and maintained VBS and Bash scripts to automate recurring tasks. Administered and monitored a Linux CentOS simulation cluster used for numerical calculations and analyses. Managed a triad license server for CAD applications running FlexNet and LMX.

Mechanical design for engine development, from initial concepts to detailed component definitions. Worked in a newly created department responsible for engines already in production. Contributed to the continuous improvement of in-service engines based on field feedback and engineering changes.

Designed surgical instruments in SolidWorks, applying mechanical design principles for medical devices. Developed and updated design guidelines to standardize SolidWorks use. Supported users with 3D modeling and technical drawings. Worked with teams to adapt CAD models to functional requirements.

Swiss Institute for Speleology and Karst Studies

Performed a range of technical work during a long-term civil service assignment, primarily creating 3D models of caves and cavities in Cinema 4D from field measurements.
